About James Kole

 

James Wyble Kole

James moved to Maryland for work in 2012 and has called the Laurel Community home since then. James and his husband moved to Ward 1 in the City of Laurel in 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Contracting/Horticulture from Penn State University. James has long been active in his community starting from a young age as the chairman of his church’s youth group and head acolyte. In college James served a period on his town’s Borough Council. Since moving to Maryland, James has served on the Board of Directors for the MD/DC/VA Landscape Contractors Association as well as a member of the National Collegiate Landscape Competition Committee.
